Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
SNDsignage is operated by GW Technologies ("we", "us", "our"), registered at 61 Bridge Street, Kington, United Kingdom, HR5 3DJ. We are the data controller for personal data collected through the SNDsignage platform. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
2. Data we collect
Account data: When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and password (stored in hashed form via Supabase Auth).
Campaign data: Information you provide when submitting a campaign brief, including business name, target locations, budget, venue preferences, scheduling preferences, and creative assets.
Payment data: We use Stripe to process management fee payments. We do not store your full card details — these are handled directly by Stripe. We retain records of payment amounts, dates, and Stripe transaction references for accounting and dispute purposes.
Usage data: We may collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited, for security and diagnostic purposes.
Communications: If you contact us by email, we retain those communications to resolve your query.
3. How we use your data
- To create and manage your account.
- To process your campaign brief and source suitable screen proposals.
- To process payments and maintain financial records.
- To communicate with you about your campaign, proposals, and account.
- To comply with our legal obligations.
- To improve the SNDsignage platform.
Our legal basis for processing is primarily contract performance (to deliver the service you've requested) and legitimate interests (to operate and improve the platform). Where required by law, we rely on your consent.
4. Who we share data with
We share your data only where necessary:
- Supabase — our database and authentication provider, used to store your account and campaign data securely.
- Stripe — our payment processor, for management fee transactions.
- Revolut — used to issue ad budget payment links.
- CAASie — our screen delivery network, who receive campaign details (targeting, creative, schedule) necessary to run your campaign. CAASie operates under its own privacy policy.
- Vercel — our hosting provider.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties or use it for advertising purposes.
5. Data retention
We retain your account and campaign data for as long as your account is active, and for up to 6 years afterwards to comply with UK tax and financial record-keeping obligations. You may request deletion of your account at any time (see section 7).
6. Data security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including encrypted database storage (via Supabase), HTTPS across all pages, and access controls limiting who within our organisation can view customer data.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectify inaccurate data.
- Erase your data (subject to legal retention requirements).
- Restrict or object to our processing of your data.
- Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent where we rely on consent as a legal basis.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@sndsignage.com. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to maintain session state. We do not currently use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies. If this changes we will update this policy and seek your consent where required.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or via an in-platform notice. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acknowledgement of the updated policy.
